WELCOME!
WE’RE WORKING ON OUR SITE AT THE MOMENT…

WE BELIEVE THAT EDUCATION SHOULD NOT BE CONFINED TO THE CLASSROOMS.

EDUCATION IS BEYOND GETTING GOOD GRADES!

ABOUT US — OUR MISSION…

The BGG (Beyond-Good-Grades) initiative aims to achieve the following objectives in primary and secondary schools:

Prevent Bullying

Prioritising Diversity

Promoting Positive Behaviours

Nurturing Potentials

The BGG initiative is very dear to my heart. The dream that was first sparked in 2010 written on many post-it notes, is now gradually becoming a reality.

In testing the validity of this idea over the years, with various select audiences/groups, comprising of social entrepreneurs,  teachers and school leaders, and parents, they all gave me the green light that this was a worthy cause and would address some of the ongoing issues they were aware of, and confirmed that my ideas and passion, were beyond an emotional whim!.

It was also very important to identify what were the key challenges in schools, from the perspectives of the teacher and the also the parents/carers. Also what were the reasons for absences from schools? why were parents moving school or homeschooling their children? How important is parental involvements and engagement with schools? Do students and parents behaviour reflect the ethos of the school? How do we manage behaviour (of parent and students) outside the school gates?

——-
I believe that this initiative will have a positive impact, it will address the issues raised, transform mindsets, unlock potentials and ensure the holistic development of the child. Someone said “the whole child is the whole point”, and this totally summarises our mission.
——-

In memory of my parents who raised me to be fearless, challenge inequalities, gave me a voice, showed me that more is possible, and taught me to never settle for less.
They believed in my potentials, even when I doubted myself.
I am eternally grateful for the time I had with them.

If not, now when? If not you, then whom?

WHAT WE BELIEVE…

  • No matter their background, every child should be happy, fulfil their potential, enjoy learning and achieve without limits!
  • Beyond academic success, we must focus on inspiring kind, resilient, responsible, happy, emotionally intelligent and courageous future leaders, who are on a mission to make a difference and change the world.
  • A happy and nuturing environment, and parental engagement is important in the holisitic development of children.
  • Positive Parent, Positive Child – Positive behaviours in children are usually a reflection of postive parenting.

“Your time is limited, so don’t waste it living someone else’s life. Don’t be trapped by dogma—which is living with the results of other people’s thinking. Don’t let the noise of others’ opinions drown out your own inner voice.”
